I recoloured 4 of her meshes:

living chair (leather, wood and the pillow)
framed art (the canvas: "Romeo and Juliet" Prologue in chalk on blank background)

The 4 other meshes (sofa, love seat, end table, coffee table) take their textures from the armchair.

The Flippancy of Youth

I didn't think I'd be making another recolour of Adele's Ramsay Living Room Set because the first one took such a long time to make. But I had quite a few recolouring packages left over and I wasn't going to let them go to waste (opening SimPe is a painstaking ordeal).

So with the little help from the title song that is Lovers by The Tears and a texture by MaximilianaYvert, I finished my second recolour much easier and faster.

I am particularly proud of the tiger pillow against the faux tiger pelt.

Living chair and sofa have a relatively high poly count - 1632 & 2096, but I allow up to 2000 per tile in my game, so this is acceptable to me.

It's really easy to make recolours once you have a good mesh and just the right texture for it. Thank you MysticRain for the great meshes and thank you unknown artist for these textures (I think I have seen them used in Sims comunity on walls).

I have recoloured both the cushions and the seatings so you can mix and match as you please.

Luxurious Brocade

I found these wonderful textures at Brush This and just had to try and use them. Maxis Base Game Luxury Armchair seemed like a perfect candidate, but it was this tutorial that made all the difference on how easy it was to actually do it. I made 6 recolours and I hope you will love them as much as I do.

I recommend you download Dining In Comfort set by MsBarrows at MTS or Yeda2000's Luxury King Office Chair. That way you get these recolours as office/dining chairs as well.
